Migration vs Conversion |
|
New releases of software has different impacts upon your life depending on whether it is a migration or a conversion. I have never had trouble explaining to management why some products take so much longer than others and cost much more. It is best explained by the analogy below. |

Consider a flock of geese flying north to Canada in the summer.
If geese take off and geese land, it is a MIGRATION. If geese take off and CHICKENS land, it is a CONVERSION |
