  Henry Walter HILL was born 24 May 1888 in Cherokee County, GA, the only child of William Henry HILL and Sarah Jane DUGGER.

Irene Elizabeth DANIEL was born 14 June 1891, also in Cherokee County, GA. She was the daughter of Jonathan Walker DANIEL and Lois Brown ADDINGTON.

Henry and Irene's Children

Henry and Irene were married 8 April 1905 in Bartow County, GA. They began married life, as many couples of their time did, as sharecroppers. Over the next 27 years, they had 16 children together -- eight sons and eight daughters.
