Purchased in 2000, this was my second ST1100. The odometer read almost 70,000 miles when I sold it in early 2005 (the same time the above picture was taken). It took me to beautiful and interesting places between both coasts of the US. The states included North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, California, Nevada and Utah. In all those miles, the rock solid reliability of this bike never let me down. Not only did it not give me any trouble, it never even burned a drop of oil. Is it any wonder that I replaced it with yet another ST1100?
