Benjamin Williams was given one bed and furniture, one cow & calf & small track of land which the said Williams has conveyed to his use in Anson. Co. Richard's daughter Elsey Williams was given one bed and furniture, one cow & calf, and many other articles. It seems unlikely Richard would have given bed, furniture, cow & calf to both his daughter and her husband, so perhaps Benjamin was the widower of another daughter or was the son of Elsey.

Garrard YARRELL1521 was living between 1834 and 1838 in Tennessee.1521 Garrard remained in North Carolina until 1834, when he moved with his family to Tennessee. James Ross says he "lived here until his death in 1838," so I assume he lived in Montgomery Co. near the Ross family. He died in 1838 in Tennessee.1522 Garrard was an able seaman. He was captured by the Brittish in the War of 1812 and married in Scotland before he returned to the United States. He later was captured by French cruisers uner Bonaparte and never financially recovered. Parents: Matthew YARRELL and Mary WHEATLY.
