Rilly Ann BAUCOM was born in Aug 1851 in North Carolina.^113,116,117 She was listed as Rilly A., 18, NC in the 1870 census, and R.A., 28, NC, in the 1880 census. She appeared in the census in 1900 in McNairy Co. TN.¹¹³ In the 1900 census, Rilly was listed as R.A. Ross, b Aug. 1851. With her (in the order listed) were her sister Jane, Jno Asa Ross (whose relationship I could not read) b July 1888, and Jno R. Davis, nephew, born May 1883. She died on 17 Jan 1940 in McNairy Co. TN.¹¹⁸ She was buried about 17 Jan 1940 in Liberty Church Cemetery, McNairy Co. TN.¹¹⁸ Parents: Ransom BAUCOM and Martha (BAUCOM).

John Bunyon BENNETT^147,148 died before Jan 1881.^145,147 The Dugald Ross settlement in 1881 listed the "heirs at law and next of Kin of Jemima Bennett wife of John Bennett decd whose names are as follow - J.L. Bennett, J.K. Tice & wife L.A. Tice, J.W. Bivens & wife M.A. Bivins, R.A. Gaddy & wife Susan, Marshall Bennett, Ellis Bennett, W.I.? Redfearn & wife Bettie." (para. 4).

Spouse: Jemima ROSS. John Bunyon BENNETT and Jemima ROSS were married.¹⁴⁵ At one time I believed that Jemima married Jesse Taylor. In 1840, Jesse Taylor, age 20-30, was in Anson Co. on pg 60. Female 15 to 20 (which would make her born 1820-1825), 2 male children under 5. But there is also a female 15-20 living with Dugald Ross.

In Henderson Co. at Jacks Creek in 1860 census is J.J. Taylor (age 40) family which included Jemima age 39, Stephen 22, L.B, 20 all born NC. Also had Mary A 17, S.J.0 15 (F), W.J. 13, Penelope 11, A.J. 9 all born Ala., and G.W. 7 born TN.

However, the settlement of the senior Dugald Ross's estate in 1881 listed the heirs of Jemima Bennett, wife of John Bennett.
