Patrick LITTLE995 was born between 1802 and 1804 in Anson Co. NC.996 In 1826, Patrick witnessed a sale by Jacob to Pleasant (V-84), indicating he is probably at least 16 (b 1810) if not 21 (b 1805). In the 1820 census, one of Jacob's sons was 16-18 (b 1802-1804) and it is likely that it is Patrick. He died in 1847 in Union Co. NC.997 Letter of administration was issued to Clement Dees upon the estate of Patrick Little. Bond was given in sum of $600 with Joseph Little, Wm Stegall, Colmon Austin & J.C. Austin.

In the abstract of Gray's administration, it appears that Penina, William, and Seth might be grandchildren, but Sylvia's will is directed to the three of them (who she names as sons and daughters) and son Gray. Pleasant LITTLE676 was born between 1760 and 1765 in Pitt Co. NC. Pleasant's birth year is based on census data. In 1830, he was listed on pg 65 as 60 to 70 (b 1760-1770). In 1810, he was listed on pg 18 as 45 or over (b before 1765). Thus, he was born 1760-1765; other census records support this age bracket. Pleasant may have been born in Surry Co. VA before Isaac moved to Pitt Co., but I am guessing that Isaac and family moved at the same time William moved in 1755.
He owned 200 acres on McNishes Creek on 5 Feb 1808 in Anson Co. NC.1000 The first reference to Pleasant in Anson Co. is a deed in Feb. 1808 from William H. Gulledge. The deed was witnessed by Danl Fones and Ira Proctor. He died in Feb 1832 in Anson Co. NC.672 Pleasant's children and wife are listed in his will. Elisha (either his brother or his son) is one of the executors and Jacob witnesses the will.

In 1870 census, he is on same page as Pleasant M. and is called simply Pleasant. His age is 36. In the 1900 census his birth date is listed as Aug 1835 and he is 64. He was living on 17 Jan 1876 in Iredell Co. NC.552 P.M. & Catherine sold 122 acres starting at the "widows dower" to Bryant Little. Witness was George W. Little. He died after 1900. Parents: Pleasant Minon LITTLE and Anna MEDLIN.

Little, living next door; Sarah Mayes, living a few households away; and Dan, Etta, and Matilda, all of whom were listed in Joseph's obituary in approximately 1936. Pleasant Minon LITTLE867 was born on 10 May 1800 in Union Co. NC.867,1002 1860 census Pleasant M. Little was 60, living in Olive Branch. Pleasant's son Jacob wrote in his bible that Pleasant was 85 yrs, 2 mos. 13 days when he died July 23, 1885, which would make him born May 10, 1800. He appeared in the census in 1830 in Anson Co. NC.1003 Pleasant M. Little was listed as 30-40, with one male 15-20 and two under 5 (Samuel K. and John Q.); one female under 5 and one 20-30. The elder male probably was one of Pleasant's brothers. He appeared in the census in 1840 in Anson Co. NC. Plest M. Little was listed on page 53 with one male 40-50, one 10-15, two under 5; one female 30-40, one 10-15, and one under 5.
He appeared in the census in 1850 in Union Co. NC.1004 Menon Little was listed in Dwelling 1377, age 50 with wife Anna 46, Saml, 23, John 21, Jacob 19, Pleasant 14, Danl 12, Elizabeth 10, Wm 4, Isaac 2. Next door was Susan Little, widow of Isaac, and five of her childdren. He appeared in the census in 1860 in Olive Branch, Union Co. NC.1005 Pleasant M. Little was listed on page 779 in household 651, surrounded by his family. Pleasant was listed as 60. With him were Anna 40, and his three younger sons: Daniel 23, Pinckney 13, Isaac 10.
Pleasant M. age 22, was 2 households away at household 653. Samuel was listed at household 648, John Q. at household 640, and Jacob S. at 639. Daughter Elizabeth was living with her husband Alexander P. Traywick at household 649. He was living in 1870 in New Salem Twp, Union Co. NC.1006 He was living in 1880 in Union Co. NC.1007 In the 1880 census, Pleasant M. Little, age 76, was listed on pg 264 in New Salem, Union Co., with Pink Traywick and Elizabeth, age 40, and family. He was listed as father-in-law. Nearby, on page 267, was Samuel Little, age 53, and wife Lydia. He died on 23 Jul 1885.52 He was buried about 23 Jul 1885 in Little Cemetery, Union Co, NC. Pleasant and Patrick witnessed sell of land by Hosea and Isaac after Jacob's death. They also witnessed sale by Jacob Sr to Jacob Jr in 1834: Deed Bk 10, p 243. Pleasant Menon Little sold land adjoining Jacob's land 1833 Deed Bk 10, P 250.
1830 census had Isaac, Hozy, Jacob (with male 20+ and male 70+, Patrick, Pleasant M. all on pages 90 and 91. Aaron was on pg 88.
The Little Bit says Pleasant Minon Little b 1800 d 1895 had brothers James and Daniel who were Civil War casualties, but these are actually his grandchildren, sons of Jacob Snyder Little. Parents: Jacob LITTLE I and [Little] MARY.

She was buried in Little Cemetery, Union Co, NC.1008 Mary's daughter put a marker in the Little Cemetery and listed her as Little instead of Wise. According to Annie Lee Traywick, Priscilla was the daughter of Mary and a man named Smith. She made no mention of Matilda, but it would appear she was also the daughter of Mary. Parents: Isaac LITTLE Jr. and Susan [LITTLE].
