Some researchers have her dying in Surry Co. VA about 1691. On the Church genforum, I found one researcher who claims Elizabeth, dau of Benjamin Church and Alice Southworth, married John Sampson 11 Sep 1717. Elizabeth, dau of Benjamin Church and Alice Southworth was born 1684 according to the Genealogical Record of Plymouth Families.. Guessing that Charles is a child of Elijah and Jane based on his buying property at the sale of Elijah's estate, the fact that he is not listed as an heir of Headley, and there is no other logical parent for him in Lauderdale. He, of course, could be a nephew of both Elijah and Headley, but for now, I am placing him here. Parents: Elijah COBURN and Jane T. HARRINGTON. Spouse: Elizabeth BARNES.
