Personal Campaign Statement For June 2000 aswritten in HAL-PC Magazine:
What makes HAL-PC great people! Our success depends upon all of us. Each of us is an integral part of this organization. Do you fear success? Do you fear the future of HAL-PC without continued success? We need leadership with vision not stagnation. In the words of Intel's co-founder and chairman Andy Grove, Change or Die!

With great success as past VP Programs we worked hard to preserve our standing in the Vendor community. We brought our Members the latest in Computer Technology Roadmaps - To see the future first hand from around the globe!

We exist in an ever-changing environment requiring thoughtful leadership ready to make hard decisions to move forward quickly seize the day! As Director, “Build Or Buy A PC” SIG Leader and future Director of HAL-PC, your voting support is a vote for the continued success of HAL-PC. We’ve come a long way.
We have a long way to go to preserve the future of our HAL-PC. Your Vote will be appreciated. Thank you for this opportunity and privilege to serve. An important task for responsive leadership not meant for bench warmers. We must serve with zeal committed to our future. Take HAL-PC seriously and vote yes for Gill Boyd! Thank You!
