Crystal Clear Teal Green Waters.

Salvador was home to slave traders and sugar cane plantations in the olden days so it reminded us of New Orleans. Lots of interesting food, soul dancing, and music (including drums, lots of drums!). Everybody was some shade of brown or black with lots of Afro-Asian-European blood thrown in.

This city is a great tourist place because of its interesting waters, layout (high and low city), and historical places.

We went to an island beach to swim and lunch and had a grand treat - the kids were having a blast!
