CALENDAR: 

Sept. 23,2002 (approx. date - exact date will be posted when available):  "Private School Preview Plus" 3-5p.m. ballroom of Marriott Galleria, 5150 Westheimer (this replaces individual visits by high school admission representatives to local middle schools and allows parents and students to plan for personal campus visits and interviews to schools of their choice) Over 100 Houston Area Schools and Boarding Schools represented.  Sponsored by Duchesne Academy and River Oaks Baptist School.  For more info call Beth Speck at 713.468.8211.  

Oct. 2002:  Formal discussion about high school admissions at 7:00 p.m. in the lecture hall in tandem with the Washington D.C. orientation (for 8th graders this spring).  

Nov. 5-9 (approx. date):  HISD Magnet Awareness Program.  Parents can visit Magnet Schools at 9:00 a.m. for informative program.
