T-Max uses an unorthodox grip - on the net! This club has been formed to promote table tennis in Houston and all over the United States. You may see the clubs colorful shirts at events all over the US.  It is dedicated to providing the best atmosphere for play and sportsmanship.  With the support of New Image Marketing, Inc., the club sponsors officials, athletes and volunteers to various table tennis tournaments, competitions and special events around the world.  Promoting USATT is a principal goal of its charter.

The club counts among its sponsored players and members, two Olympians.  Additionally, US World Team members as well as a couple of former US Open Champions add power to the numbers.  The club is not just for the elite.  Beginners are as welcome as experienced players. While the club started with Butterfly Europa, those tables were donated to the Westbury UMC community center. BBTTC now features the very durable (and cat friendly) Donic Automat, and play can get quite spirited. Olympian Sean O'Neill plays doubles at BBTTCMulti-ball drills are quite popular with the locals.  Primarily a location for training and physical exercise, the fully air conditioned environment is conducive to a good time.  You do have to watch your footwork as the four-legged club mascots enjoy playing just as much as we do!

Regular play almost always is accompanied by informal lessons as the higher rated players work with those whose technique is developing.  Hard work pays off as BBTTC members pick up trophies in local league play.  The attached leisure area, complete with Sony industrial 6 foot, front projection parabolic big screen, is ideal for viewing and reviewing matches from the Olympics, World Championships and various table tennis training tapes which can be studied in great detail. Viewing replays on the big screen The attached Dolby Surround Sound powered by the custom built TANSTAAFL II system, brings you right into the action.

The adjacent offices house the systems that maintain Canupnet on the web.  Internet and Email services are offered at no charge to members.  FAX, scanning, printing and copy services are available at a slight fee.  Digital stroke study is also offered to members.  Much of the promotion of the Houston Table Tennis Association takes place from this office as well. The club also features full shower facilities.

Located only two miles from the Houston Table Tennis Center, one of the premier facilities in the US, the club has easy access to major tournaments such as the Southern Open.  It has housed some of the participants in this years US Open/ITTF Pro Tour (held in Houston) as well. While the club is small in physical dimensions, it is huge at heart.
