He was hanged in Clayton, New Mexico for 'assault on a train'.
He, along with my great grandfather Samuel W. Ketchum (shown on right)
and three or four others, were the Black Jack Ketchum gang in the late
1800s.
I have also discovered that I am a third cousin to President Bill
Clinton, both of us having descended from Bryant Spradley
of South Carolina. As you might suspect,
I am into genealogy and western history. I also spend a lot of
time surfing the net, since I retired from working as Printing Manager
for the City of Houston. I'm also an author of FUNDAMENTALS
OF PERMITTING FOR SEISMIC EXPLORATION, and an inactive member of
MENSA, and an ex-truck driver a long time ago.
