Descendants of Edward Ketchum

Edward Ketchum was ancestor of outlaw brothers Thomas Edward "Black Jack" Ketchum and Samuel W. Ketchum of Texas. Ben Kilpatrick, Will Carver, Elzy Lay and one or two others of the Wild Bunch joined the Black Jack Ketchum Gang at times to rob trains and commit other crimes. Both Ketchum brothers died violent deaths. Tom was hanged in Clayton, NM and Sam was shot after robbing a train at Folsom, NM. He died three weeks later in the NM Territorial Prison.
